In the 1960s, Xaverian's Tumbling Team, led by Mr. Stanley Sajecki, became a highlight of the school's athletic culture, renowned for their high-energy performances and acrobatic displays. Their performances, especially at Madison Square Garden during basketball games, were a major school tradition, captivating crowds and building school spirit.

Today, the spirit of that Tumbling Team lives on through Xaverian's Cheerleading squads. Like their predecessors, today's cheerleaders combine athleticism, stunting, and tumbling to energize the Clipper crowd, supporting Xaverian athletes while engaging the entire school community. With a program that encompasses teams for grades 6 through 12, Xaverian Cheerleading has grown to over 100 cheerleaders each school year.

Both teams share a legacy of athleticism, teamwork, and school pride—key elements that continue to define the Xaverian experience and keep the excitement alive for generations of Clippers.
